Sarthi has been actively advocating climate action since 2009 and believes that climate change needs to be addressed urgently to save ecosystems, lives and property. For that, Sarthi volunteers and team went on a road expedition flagged off by Dr. Arvind Sharma (former MP Karnal), directed a documentary, organised plantation drives, planting more than 850 saplings in Haryana, held awareness campaigns at public places, seminars and talks at various schools and colleges across India, distributed as well as screened 'Earth in Flames' in villages and cities. Besides that, Sarthi also organised a signature campaign to pledge to preserve the environment and Climate Strike rally in Karnal as part of Greta's Climate Action strike. We believe every individual can be a change agent in preserving the environment and working towards environmental sustainability.
